The Wichita Falls Police Department Junior Police Academy application deadline has been extended to May 27th. We still have openings in both sessions of our Junior Police Academy. Session one will be from June 11th through June 15th. The second session will be from July 23rd through July 27th. Sessions will run Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am until 3:00 pm. Friday, graduation day, will be a short day from 8:30 am until approximately 11:00 am.
Junior Police Academy applications will be available at the front desk of the police department at 610 Holliday St and at the Public Safety Training Center front desk at 710 Flood St or by e-mail at the below listed addresses. You can drop off the completed application at the front desk of the police department on Holliday or the training center on Flood St. or mail them to either location. If you do mail them mark it to the attention of Officer Henning, Johnson or Sheehan. The quickest response would be to drop it off at either location. Registration is for kids 12 to 14 years old.
