On Wednesday, January 10th, at approximately 8:58 pm, 28 year old Brandon Alexander Gilleland was transferred from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and booked into the Wichita County jail on a Capital Murder warrant.
On October 4, 2016 officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 2500 block of Terrace in reference to a subject that had been shot.
Upon arrival officers located 60 year old Roger Aliff on the ground. He had suffered gunshot wounds. Aliff was transported to the hospital where he later died from those wounds.
WFPD Detectives began to investigate and were able to obtain Capital Murder warrants for two individuals; 37 year old Dustin Hord, who turned himself into police on April 28, 2017 and Gilleland.
Gilleland’s bond was set at $1,000,000.00.
