On Sunday, December 17th, at approximately 5:18 pm officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department responded to an occupied vehicle check at the intersection of Pyrenees and Catskills. Upon arrival they located a black Toyota 4Runner occupied by a white female who was lying across the front seat of the vehicle asleep. The vehicle was not running.
Officers identified the female as 58 year old Susan Tiffany. Her demeanor was erratic and she was unable to focus or speak in complete sentences. Officers detained her for possible intoxication.
Officers saw in plain view a purse sitting on the front passenger seat. The purse was open and inside the purse was a pill bottle that contained several small plastic bags. Upon a closer search officers located a second pill bottle inside the purse that contained three more plastic baggies. Inside each bag was a crystal like substance. Officers used a field test kit on the crystal like substance and it field tested positive as methamphetamine. The total weight of the methamphetamine, including the baggies, totaled 3.6 grams.
Tiffany was arrested and transported to the Wichita County jail where she was charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group 1.
