
Tehvin Luckey
On Sunday, October 29th, at approximately 2:45 am officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to a disturbance in the 2400 block of Sheppard Access at Studio E.
Upon arrival officers observed several people fleeing the area. They located a subject later identified as 27 year old Tehvin Luckey standing beside a vehicle holding an AK-47 rifle. Luckey dropped the weapon and was detained by officers without further incident. The weapon was determined to be loaded and had a barrel length less than 16 inches and a total length less than 26 inches. Luckey was placed into custody for possession of a prohibited weapon. A records check confirmed that Luckey was a convicted felon. It was also determined that the weapon had been reported stolen earlier this year.
Luckey was transported to the Wichita County jail where upon a search was found to be in possession of numerous pills; Acetaminophen, Codeine and Alprazolam.
Luckey was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a prohibited weapon, theft of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance.
