Suspect in Recent Aggravated Robberies Arrested

On Friday, October 27th, at approximately 9:30 pm officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were in the area of the 1800 block of 9th when they observed 22 year old Justice Smith walking.  Officers knew that Smith had two outstanding aggravated robbery warrants.  The officers approached Smith and took him into custody without incident.  Upon a search incident to an arrest officers located a clear plastic bag with a green leafy substance in his front pant pocket.  The substance showed a positive field test for marijuana.

The warrants stemmed from two recent aggravated robberies that took place.  On October 22nd at approximately 10:15 pm two suspects where in the 1400 block of Beverly when they pulled a gun on the victim and demanded his wallet. The suspects then fled the scene on foot with the victim`s wallet. The second was on the same night a few minutes later in the 4100 block of Seymour Hwy. Two armed suspects entered the Eskimo Hut and demanded money.  They fled on foot with cash, cigarillos and the victim’s phone.

Smith’s bond for the warrants was set at 1.5 million dollars.
