On Thursday, October 26th, at approximately 2:30 am officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 900 block of Humphreys in reference to a possible aggravated assault. Prior to their arrival officers were advised that a female had stabbed the victim multiple times.
Officers located the victim, a 25 year old black female, in the 300 block of Bailey with visible open wounds on her shoulder and chest. The victim advised she was dropping off 38 year old Casandra Fleeks at a residence on Humphreys when a verbal argument began. Fleeks demanded to be dropped off in front of the residence rather than down the street. The victim attempted to help Fleeks out of the vehicle due to her being highly intoxicated. The victim advised Fleeks pulled out a silver in color pocket knife, opened the blade and began swinging it at her. The victim started backing away from Fleeks when she was struck with the knife on the left shoulder. Officers observed an open wound on the victim’s shoulder. According to the victim Fleeks continued swinging in the victim`s direction striking her in the chest and the right hand with the knife causing open wounds.
Officers located Fleeks in the 900 block of Humphreys and placed her into custody. She was transported to the Wichita County jail where she was charged with aggravated assault.
The victim’s wounds were non-life threatening.
