On Friday, June 9th, at approximately 5:00 am officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department’s Organized Crime Unit and SWAT team conducted a narcotic search warrant in the 600 block of Central Freeway East at the Wayfarer Motel.
During the course of the search they located several small plastic bags that contained a clear crystal like substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine. The total weight for the methamphetamine was 279 grams. Officers also located two pills that were identified as Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), also known as ecstasy and a digital scale.
Officers located 45 year old Bilal Jihad in the room. He was arrested and transported to the Wichita County jail where he was charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance in penalty group one ($50,000 bond) and possession of a controlled substance in penalty group two ($50,000 bond).
