On March 10, officers were called to the 1500 blk of 14th St at approximately 8 pm for a suspicious person walking through yards possibly attempting to steal. The arriving officer located a suspect matching the description given by the dispatchers walking in the middle of the road. The suspect refused to obey the commands of the officer and continued to walk away. He was given commands to obey multiple times but continued to walk away, shrugging off the officer’s hands as he attempted to take him into custody. The suspect then turned on the officer in a threatening manner and appeared as though he wanted to physically fight. The arresting officer then held the suspect at taser point. Backup arrived and as they took the suspect into custody he continued to resist arrest. He was identified as Wesley Frizzell. Frizzell was arrested for Resisting Arrest and for walking in the roadway.
