On December 17th at approximately 12:00 pm officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 1000 block of City View in reference to a possible burglary of a habitation.

Upon arrival they spoke with a witness who stated that they observed a white male, later identified as 20 year old Austin Kimbro, inside the residence.  The witness advised that this was their mother’s property.  The witness said that they observed Kimbro take a truck muffler from inside the residence and then place it into a white 2001 Chevrolet pickup.  He was also seen placing a tool box in the truck as well.

The witness also stated that they observed another white male, later identified as 31 year Benjamin Flowers, walking out of the backyard of the residence carrying a ladder and a box of tools.

Both Kimbro and Flowers were still on scene when officers arrived.

Officers discovered that the back door of the residence was open.  When officers spoke with Kimbro he advised that he used to live at that residence but now no longer does.

Both Kimbro and Flowers were arrested for burglary of a habitation and transported to the Wichita County jail without incident.
