On July 19th at approximately 1:00 pm officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 2300 block of Jasper in reference to a burglary of a habitation.
Upon arrival officers located an unlocked back door and started to enter the residence in order to clear it. As they were about to enter 35 year old Bobby Fernandez came out of the residence. Fernandez was detained. After officers cleared the residence it was determined that Fernandez had attempted to remove propane and propane accessories from the residence. The owner of the residence was contacted and advised that Fernandez did not live there and did not have permission to be inside.
Fernandez was arrested and transported to the Wichita County jail without incident. During a search of Fernandez it was discovered that he was in possession of illegal prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Fernandez was charged with burglary of a habitation, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
