On March 7th at approximately 3:15 pm officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 4100 block of Kemp Blvd at Best Buy for a possible Forgery in progress.
When they arrived they spoke with store employees who stated that they were notified by a customer earlier that day that someone had used their husband’s credit card to purchase some items from Best Buy without their authorization. The victim stated that they received a call from Best Buy stating that the items were ready to be picked up.
Store employees stated that a white female came into the store around 3:00 pm and used a false ID to pick up the items. Employees, at this time, contacted police.
Officers were able to detain the suspect who was identified as 23 year old Harley Johnson along with two other suspects that were with her; 40 year old Franklin Johnson and 36 year old Chasity Daniel.
Harley Johnson told police that earlier that day she received a text from Chasity Daniel telling her “let’s go pick up that stuff.” Johnson stated that Daniel and Franklin Johnson picked her up and they went to Best Buy.
All three suspects were arrested and transported to the Wichita County jail where they were charged with Credit/Debit Card Abuse.
