Traffic Stop Leads to Multiple Charges


On 02-15-16, at approx 9:27am, WFPD Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 blk of Greyfox. The driver, identified as 20 year old Obahykina Fuller, exited the vehicle and walked towards police. Officers explained the reason for the stop and Fuller returned to the car to get some paperwork from the glove box. When he opened the car door, officers could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car. At that point, Fuller began to resist and fight with officers. He was taken into custody for Resisting Arrest, Search, or Transport and Assault on a Public Servant. Officers searched the vehicle and located a 9mm handgun under the driver’s seat, a box of 9mm ammunition in the glove box, and a small amount of marijuana in the floorboard. In addition to the charges mentioned above, Fuller was also arrested for Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
