Investigation leads to burglary arrest

mcgaughOn January 22nd, 2016, a business located at 3923 Kell Blvd reported a burglary of a building.  Officers arrived on scene to discover a glass door had been broken out.  A business representative arrived on scene and determined that several air compressors had been stolen from inside the business.  The property was valued at approximately $700.  A short time later a vehicle matching the suspect’s, along with the stolen property, was located in the area of Kemp St and 9th by Wichita County deputies. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time.  Through their investigation, Wichita Falls Police Dept. detectives developed a suspect, Jamey Don Mcgaugh and a warrant for burglary of a building was issued.  Mcgaugh was arrested for the burglary of a building warrant on February 2, 2016 with a $15,000 bond.
