On 01-13-16, at approx 1145 hrs, officers were dispatched to the 800 blk of Ft. Worth in reference to a disturbance involving a gun and hammer. According to the report, Tory Byrd and Thomas Jeter came to the residence and caused a disturbance over money. During the disturbance, Byrd threatened the victim with a hammer and pointed a gun at him. Byrd and Jeter had already left the residence but were located in the area near Holiday Creek. Both subjects ran from officers but were captured and taken to jail. Byrd was charged with Aggravated Assault Family Violence and Evading. Jeter was charged with Evading. The hammer was recovered near the creek.
