Today just past noon Detectives with the Wichita Falls Police Department arrested 26 year old Rodney Darvaun Robinson in connection with the November 19th Aggravated Robbery at Texoma Armory located in the 4700 block of Southwest Pky.
Detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant for Robinson at which time they made contact with him and he made arrangements to turn himself in to Detectives in the 2200 block of Southwest Pky.
He is currently being held at the Wichita County jail on a one million dollar bond.
Robinson is the second person in custody for the offense.
On November 19th at approximately 10:48 am officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department responded to a 911 call in reference to multiple shots fired in the 4700 block of Southwest Pky at Texoma Armory.
Upon arrival officers discovered that the victim, 64 year old Gary Barlow, and a suspect, 22 year old Charles Johnson, had sustained gunshot wounds to the torso area. Both subjects were transported to United Regional Health Care by ambulance for medical attention.
Police were advised that Johnson came into the store and exchanged gunfire with Barlow who works at the business. Police were also advised of a possible second suspect that fled the scene in a vehicle.
WFPD officers located a vehicle in the 5200 block of Professional Dr that was believed to be involved in the offense. Detectives were called to the scene. A Chevrolet Impala was impounded and Detectives began working on getting a search warrant for an address in the 5200 block of Professional Dr.
Johnson is still under police guard and is in custody for Aggravated Robbery.
Detectives believe only the two suspects in custody were involved in the offense.
Detectives are still looking for a rifle that was stolen during the Aggravated Robbery. The rifle is described as a CMMG 300 Blackout with an ATN Scope.
