On November 7th at approximately 1 A.M.  officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department attempted to stop a subject walking in the middle of the street where a sidewalk was provided at 32nd St. and Holliday Rd.  The subject was carrying several large bags of property in an area known for residential burglaries. The officers activated their patrol car overhead lights  to stop the subject at which time he fled on foot from the officers.  After a brief foot chase, the suspect was taken into custody in the area of 32nd St and Jacksboro Hwy  for evading arrest or detention, parole violation (burglary) and criminal  trespass.  The suspect was identified as Samuel Brian Esquibel 12/14/73.  The bags of property were taken as possible evidence of a crime.
