On 7/10/15 at 1219 hrs Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Santa Fe on a white Impala. The driver was identified as 24 year old Brandon Starr. Officers detected the odor of marihuana and asked Starr to exit the vehicle. Starr then fled on foot leaving behind his TX ID and vehicle. Search of the vehicle uncovered several bags of marijuana. Starr was found a few minutes later at Sherman and Cumberland and placed into custody. His vehicle was impounded and he was arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention and Possession of Marihuana.
