On 06-01-15, at 0631hrs, WFPD patrol officers were dispatched to the area of San Simeon and Elmwood on a report of multiple vehicle burglaries. Officers received information from one of the victims that he was looking for his I-Phone that was stolen. Officers met with that victim and were able to track the phone to an apartment at 2202 Harrison. During the investigation, officers were also given a surveillance photo of the burglars in action breaking into a car. Officers responded to the tracked phone’s location where 28 year old Ronald Giner answered the door. The officers immediately recognized Giner to be the person they saw in the photo breaking into a vehicle. Giner was found to be in possession of the stolen phone. Giner and his girlfriend, 26 year old Tiffany Green, confessed to several vehicle burglaries and stolen property was recovered, including a handgun. Both Giner and Green were arrested and transported to jail.
