Foot Pursuit Ends with Multiple Arrests


Today at approximately 2:30 AM Officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were dispatched to the 1600 block of Cimarron Trl in reference to a possible burglary of a vehicle.

Upon arrival Officers spoke with the victim who stated that he observed a man, who was later identified as Bo Billen (19 year old white male of Wichita Falls.),  standing by his vehicle with the driver’s side door open.  The victim stated he went into his residence and when he came back out he observed Billen sitting inside a gold over blue Chevrolet pickup that was parked in front of his residence. He stated that he then observed Billen exit the vehicle and flee on foot in the 1400 block of Covington.   The victim stated items were taken from his vehicle to include a MP3 player.

Officers began searching the area and were able to locate Billen jumping a fence in the area of Clovis and Covington.  Officers ordered Billen to stop, however he continued to flee on foot carrying a duffle bag.  Officers began to pursue him.  Once in range Officers were able to successfully deploy their Taser ending the pursuit.

It was determined that the Chevrolet pickup was stolen.  The stolen MP3 player was found inside the pickup.

Billen was arrested and transported to jail without incident where he was charged with Burglary of a Vehicle, Theft, and Evading.
