Traffic stop leads to Meth arrest.

On 02-27-15 at   approximately 0046 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1700 block of Polk for failing to signal while entering traffic.  Officers approached and made contact with the occupants of the vehicle.   At that time the  passenger was seen making furtive movements while inside the vehicle.  For safety reasons the driver and passenger were removed from the vehicle.  The passenger, Jerry David Romero, was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine.  Romero was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1.   The trafic stop was made within 300 feet of a school which led to the drug free zone charge.
